An enterprise AI visibility solution for brands at scale.

At enterprise scale, AI visibility stops being a marketing metric and becomes a data governance problem. Hundreds or thousands of outlets, several countries, regional teams with their own budgets, and a procurement process that asks about certification before it asks about features. This is what changes when AI visibility has to work across an estate that big, and what to have agreed before anything is switched on.

Trusted to keep 30,000+ locations accurate across 80+ countries · 97% renewal rate

The brand scores well. Eleven sites do not.

Head office reports one national AI visibility figure, it looks respectable, and nobody investigates further. Underneath it, individual sites sit at the bottom of their local answers because their hours are wrong, their review volume is thin, or their catchment is being won by an independent nobody at head office has heard of. The bigger the estate, the more of that a single average can hide.

  • A visibility score and local rank for every outlet, not one brand average
  • Each store ranked against the rivals in its own catchment
  • Results split by assistant, prompt and location
  • A clear queue of which stores to lift next

Illustrative example, not client data. A healthy brand average hides the outlets that are invisible in their own local answers.

Three things that only bite at enterprise scale.

Single-site AI visibility is a content problem. Across a large estate it is a data governance problem wearing a marketing hat, and the failure modes are structural rather than creative.

Every catchment is its own contest

Assistants answer locally. Your Rustenburg site is not competing with your Waterfront site, it is competing with whatever independent has better reviews two streets away. Visibility has to be measured and managed per catchment or it is not being managed at all, and at 500 sites that is 500 contests.

Local operators change things

Hours get edited, a photo gets swapped, a rogue page appears, a location gets claimed by someone who left in 2022. Every one of those inconsistencies is a reason for an assistant to leave you out of the answer, and across a large estate it happens weekly.

Head office cannot do it site by site

Fixing AI visibility one outlet at a time does not survive contact with a national estate. It needs bulk updates, location groups, approval workflows and a team that works the queue, not a dashboard that produces a longer to-do list every month.

Built for estates that are already complicated.

An enterprise AI visibility solution has to survive things a self-serve tool never meets: multi-country footprints, franchised and corporate sites side by side, regional teams with their own budgets, security review, and a rollout that cannot start with a big bang.

A straight answer on scale: we scope large AI visibility rollouts with you before switching them on, so the prompt set, the cadence and the cost are agreed up front rather than discovered on the first invoice. On estates of several hundred locations we will usually start with a defined region or brand and expand from a proven baseline. We would rather tell you that now than promise a flip of a switch and renegotiate later.

Central control, local relevance, one workflow.

The reason these programmes stall is not strategy, it is permissions. Head office wants brand consistency, individual sites and franchisees want their own specials and hours, and neither wants to log a ticket for it.

  • Location groups for bulk updates, scheduling and reporting across the estate
  • Approval workflows so franchisee content goes live on-brand
  • LocTech to detect and reverse unauthorised edits on Google and Facebook
  • Rogue page finding and suppression before a duplicate splits your reviews
  • Special trading hours handled in bulk ahead of public holidays
  • Per-location and per-region budget wallets for local ad spend

We run the inputs, not just the scoreboard.

Every factor that moves an AI visibility score already sits inside the platform, and is already executed by our team: accurate location information, listings across 50+ platforms, review response and sentiment, localised social content, and structured location pages built to be read by assistants.

A tracker that only measures will tell a 200-store brand that 40 outlets are underperforming. It will not fix 40 outlets. That is the whole argument.

Your location data decides whether any of this works.

This is the part most vendors leave until onboarding. It belongs in the first conversation, because it changes what you should do first.

A location with missing data is invisible to the tracker, not just to customers

Prompts are generated from the city and suburb values across your location set. An outlet with a missing or incorrect city produces no prompts, so it is silently left out of the results rather than flagged as a problem. Correcting the record later does not backfill the history, so you start that outlet's trend from zero.

If your listing data has drifted, the sequence is listings first, tracking second. That order is not upselling, it is the only order in which the numbers mean anything.

Enterprise AI visibility, answered.

What is an enterprise AI visibility solution?

An enterprise AI visibility solution does three things a self-serve tracker does not. It scores every site in the estate rather than the brand as a whole, because assistants answer locally and a national average hides the sites that are missing. It handles governance across regions, operators and permissions so the work can actually be done at that scale. And it comes with people who run the inputs, because a report that lists 40 underperforming sites does not fix 40 sites.

Can we get an AI visibility score per location?

Yes. Every outlet gets its own visibility score and a local rank against the competitors named in its own catchment, alongside the brand-level view. Results are also split by assistant and by prompt, so you can see whether a store is missing everywhere or only on certain kinds of question.

How many locations can you track?

Prompt volume scales with your keyword set and the number of distinct cities and suburbs you trade in, and pricing follows prompt usage, so the practical answer is a commercial one rather than a hard cap. For large estates we scope the rollout with you first and will often start with a defined region or brand before expanding, so the cost and cadence are agreed before anything is switched on.

Why does enterprise scale need a different approach?

Because the constraints change. Prompt volume, and therefore cost, scales with the number of distinct cities and suburbs you trade in. Permissions have to reflect regions, operators and brands rather than one flat account. Security review becomes a gate. And a bad keyword set is expensive to discover at 500 sites rather than at five.

Social Places manages 30,000+ locations across 80+ countries and is ISO 27001 certified, working with brands including McDonald's, BMW, Standard Bank, Capitec, Mediclinic and TFG. Engagements at this level include a dedicated Account Manager and Digital Lead, custom permissions across organisation, brand and location hierarchy, and quarterly strategy sessions. Rollouts are scoped with our team rather than self-serve.

Do franchisees have to do anything?

Not for the tracking. Measurement runs centrally from your location data. For the work that lifts the score, franchisees can be as involved as your model allows: they can add local content and specials through approval workflows, or head office and our team can run it centrally with the network simply kept informed. Most brands land somewhere in between.

What if some of our location data is wrong?

Then fix the data first. Prompts are generated from the city and suburb values across your location set, so an outlet with missing or wrong data produces no prompts and is left out of the results silently. Correcting it later does not backfill the history. If your listing data has drifted, a data cleanse and claiming exercise comes before tracking, and we run that as part of the managed service.

Do we need to be enterprise-sized for this to be worth it?

No. Everything on this page applies to any estate large enough that you cannot inspect every site by hand, corporate-owned or franchised. The AI Visibility Tracker is also one of the few Social Places products that does not require a multi-location footprint at all, so a single-site or national brand can be tracked using a custom location such as a city or country.

How long before we see a change in AI answers?

Once your location data is structured and published, assistants begin sourcing from it as they re-crawl, typically within weeks. From there the monthly score and citation tracking show whether momentum is building, per location rather than just for the brand.

Find out which of your sites AI has never heard of.

We will check how often assistants recommend your locations today, catchment by catchment, and show you exactly where you are missing from the answer.
