About Social Places:

Social Places is a location management and reputation marketing platform helping multi-location brands manage listings, reputation, and localised marketing at scale across Google Maps, Apple Maps, Facebook, and major review and social media platforms. We are investing in AI-driven internal tooling and automation to improve how our teams work.

Role and responsibilities:

This is a senior, design-led role sitting within our internal marketing team. You will be the creative force behind everything Social Places puts into the world, from campaign visuals and brand assets to video content and the company website.

We are looking for someone who thinks strategically about brand, is genuinely fluent in how AI is reshaping the creative process, and is ready to bring new tools and approaches to the team. You will set the visual standard, protect the brand, and actively push it forward.

What you will own:

  • Brand strategy and visual identity – own and evolve the Social Places brand, maintain the design system, set quality standards across all teams and touchpoints.
  • Static design and campaign creative – social media creative, campaign and product launch visuals, website and landing page imagery, ad creative, presentation design, event collateral, and branded documents.
  • Video design and editing – short-form video (60 to 90 seconds) for social and paid channels, medium-form video (3 to 4 minutes) for YouTube and campaigns, motion graphics, captioned content optimised for silent viewing.
  • AI-augmented creative production – integrate generative AI tools into your workflow for ideation, prototyping, and production. Stay ahead of the curve and help the team adopt what genuinely improves output.
  • Website design and management – contribute to the design and build of the Social Places website, manage ongoing content updates via CMS, collaborate with developers on implementation.
  • Events and campaign support – design cohesive visual systems for campaigns and events end to end.

What we are looking for:

5 or more years of professional design experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
A strong portfolio covering brand identity, digital campaigns, and video content
Demonstrable experience owning and managing a brand identity, not just working within one
Active, daily use of AI creative tools with the ability to give concrete examples of how they have changed your work
Confident video editing skills, particularly short-form content for social and paid channels
Experience in a B2B, SaaS, agency, or technology environment is a strong advantage
Working knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms
Comfortable briefing, directing, and reviewing external creative suppliers

Tools:

  • Design: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva
  • Video: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent
  • AI: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or equivalent
  • Web: HTML/CSS, CMS (WordPress or similar)
