Social Places is a location management and reputation marketing platform helping multi-location brands manage listings, reputation, and localised marketing at scale across Google Maps, Apple Maps, Facebook, and major review and social media platforms. We are investing in AI-driven internal tooling and automation to improve how our team works.

Role and responsibilities

In this remote Kenya based role, you will be a full-cycle hunter, not a part-time closer. Your job is to open and close new business with enterprise and mid-market brands (50–2,000+ locations). You will own the process from the first cold call to the signed contract, navigating complex buying committees (CMO, IT, Ops, Procurement) over sales cycles ranging from 2 to 12 months.

What you’ll be doing:

Prospect & outreach: Target new accounts in Retail, QSR, Banking and Healthcare using tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo and creative outbound campaigns.
Run discovery: Uncover pain points in local listings, reputation and visibility and link them directly to revenue and ROI.
Map stakeholders: Navigate 2–10 decision-makers per deal, selling “Brand Growth” to the CMO and “Integrations/Compliance” to the CTO.
Build business cases: collaborate with Product/CS to build credible proposals (e.g., hours saved, revenue uplift) that survive procurement.
Pipeline discipline: Maintain rigorous hygiene in HubSpot: accurate values, close dates and notes.
Close & handover: Negotiate commercials and contracts, then ensure a clean handover to Onboarding (we maintain a 97% client retention rate).

Requirements:

5+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS, MarTech, AdTech, or Digital Agency preferred).
Proven history of meeting or exceeding new business targets.
Comfortable with cold outreach, boardroom presentations, and closing 6-month+ sales cycles.
Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) and Prospecting tools (ZoomInfo/Apollo/Lusha).
Valid driver’s license and own, reliable transport (Required).
Bonus: Experience with Local SEO, Google Business Profiles, or Franchise operations.
